Uphold the quality policies that our company has created and oversee the product inspection process to ensure that all products meet industry & customer quality standards.
Provide support on quality inspection on elastomers, engineering plastics & metallic products and ensure all products are inspected thoroughly to meet company’s and customer’s expectations.
Perform regular and timely quality inspections including dimensions & hardness as applicable on all incoming materials, engineering plastics, metallic and elastomers products.
Perform documentation review of incoming materials, engineering plastics, metallic and elastomers products.
Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations and ensure proper part segregation.
Prepare and support incoming compound test for review & approval.
To ensure that the requirements of the documented quality system are adhered too and work produced complies with drawing and specifications.
To perform production 1st piece inspection for CNC plastics, CNC metallic and elastomers products as required in a timely manner and completing inspection records.
To perform in-process inspection for CNC plastics, CNC metallic and elastomers products as required in a timely manner and completing inspection records.
To perform final inspection for CNC plastics, CNC metallic and elastomers products as required in a timely manner and completing inspection reports in M3.
To perform outgoing inspection for CNC plastics, CNC metallic and elastomers products as required in a timely manner and completing inspection reports based on customer’s requirement.
To perform outgoing inspection for traded products as required in a timely manner and completing inspection reports based on customer’s requirement.
Support engineering for first article (FA) inspection of CNC plastics, CNC metallic and elastomers products and inspection reports creation and submission.
Support engineering for inspection with regards to day to day quality defects troubleshooting.
Raise internal deviation report (IDR) for daily inspection fallout and follow up with engineering’s disposition to close out the actions required in the IDR.
Verify content of manufacturing orders against customer requirements. E.g. drawings, BoMs
Close out QC final inspection operation in manufacturing orders in M3 system and report inspection results for accepted and rejected quantity with their repective quality defect reasons.
To ensure that traceability is maintained throughout and actively follow up on in-house traceability / material traceability matters with relevant personnel and follow up with upstream traceability if it is not make available.
Ensure all measuring, monitoring and testing equipment are in working condition and within calibration period before usage.
For senior quality inspector additional scope is to coach quality inspector and must be able to work with minimal supervision and assist quality engineer to schedule daily quality inspections required for delivery.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by quality engineer.
