Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all causes of non-conformity products are being investigated with adequate actions. Review effectiveness of corrective / preventive action initiatives for factory non-conformance.
• Ensure that Quality Management System and Food Safety Management System is effectively implemented and maintained and controlled.
• Ensure that internal quality audits and management views are carried out accordingly.
• Organize and conduct GMP, Food Safety related training to factory staffs.
• Initiate, drive and implement continuous improvement projects to sustain food quality and safety in factory.
• Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards and activities are in compliance with all statutory requirements and company policies.
• Establish/review SOP, work instruction and operational standard for food quality and safety to meet EU, FDA, HACCP and FSSC and customer requirements.
• To investigate customer’s complaints and discuss the investigation with relevant departments and corrective actions in a timely manner.
• Involve in the investigation of raw material /product quality issues and/or customer complaints.
• Liaise and involve with local regulatory authorities and third party certification bodies (HACCP, FSSC22000, EU, FDA, etc ) for new certification and surveillance audit.
• Responsible in Pest control program in terms of data trending analysis, report to customer, propose corrective and preventive actions in pest issues, costing and organising annum pest training.
• Other activities as required by immediate superior.

Competency / Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Quality Assurance, Food Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2-3 year experience in a Quality Assurance role preferably from the Food manufacturing industry
• Knowledge of QMS and FSSC2200 management system implementation.
• Good leadership and team-building skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work under a fast pace and stressful; environment.
