Work closely with overseas partner to ensure project is on schedule
Attend bi-weekly meetings with management, airframe and system integrated project teams
Provide technical inputs during design reviews and test readiness review
Perform requirements gathering to translate user’s requirement into practical design objectives or specification
Design and develop new system to support user’s requirement
Work with software, hardware and mechanical team to assess requirement feasibilities, propose alternatives and present the solution to users
Provide technical leadership and guidance in the integration of hardware and software developed by various team members, allowing the development of solutions at the system level
Liaise with users, software, hardware and mechanical team to define design specifications and provide application support
Review software, hardware and mechanical design architecture and technical documents for peripheral sub-systems
Lead team to implement new system to meet operation requirement, and subsequently to maintain and support the system
Review project documents including requirements, test plans, procedures and reports
Requirements:
Relevant Engineering degree. Degree of electrical and electronics engineering is an advantage
Able to station overseas for a minimum of 2 years
Proven experience & leadership in System Engineering including system of system experience
Proven experience in design, develop and validate new UAS
Proven experience in project planning and tracking
Proficient in UAS (e.g. ground control station, datalink, avionics, payloads)
Knowledge and understanding of UAS software, hardware and mechanical design architecture and technical documents for peripheral sub-systems
Knowledge and understanding of UAS operational domain – operational processes and scenarios
Knowledge and understanding of user experience and interaction design principles and methodologies
