Roles & Responsibilities

• Identification of tank types, keeping inventory and release for usage in tandem with safety features and environmental sustainability
• Adhere to IMDG regulations that relate to the operation of tanks, explanation of regulatory requirements on transportation within the framework of approved dangerous goods list
• Adhere to safe operations of tanks, procedures for filling and discharge, requirements for cleaning certificates, cargo compatibility, heating & couplings
• Guidance on depot processes to ensure tank is fit for use in acceptable conditions, damage assessment, surveys, and R&M
• Partake and preparation and respond to customers on tenders or project enquiries
• Performs data entry, maintenance & provision of reports, and costing preparation for approval for invoice generation
• Engage in departmental discussions to resolve customer issues pertaining to operations, customer service or any other commercial matters

Requirement

• Minimum Tertiary education
• Chemical background with ITCO + IMDG knowledge
• Relevant work experience in the Tank in Logistics Industry with no less than 3 years in the related industry
• Ability to converse in Mandarin or Japanese will also be an asset but not a pre-requisite
