Sourcing and evaluation for new suppliers or manufacturers locally and overseas.
Manage and work closely with existing supplier and manufacturers.
Monitoring closely for stock movement to ensure minimal inventory holdings.
Follow up closely with suppliers for on time delivery and quality of products.
Negotiation with suppliers for the cost reduction and delivery lead time.
Managing inventory to ensure production & warehouse operation efficiency.
Working closely with internal team to review forecasted requirement and delivery lead time to meet customers’ requirement.
Follow up daily & weekly parts shortage.
Processing of Invoicing, Delivery Orders, and other shipping documents
Verify invoice and delivery order upon received.
Support follow-up issues arise with shipments or orders that are incorrect or late, procurement administrators cooperate with the supplier to resolve the issue by building strong relationships with key contacts to fix problems as quickly as possible.
REQUIREMENTS
Fresh Graduate or Diploma in any discipline with 1-2 years of supply chain (purchasing / procurement / planning) work experience in Manufacturing environment
Excellent interpersonal, communication and strong negotiation skills.
Knowledge of AS400 or ERP system and other production control system will be an added advantage.
Independent, analytical, meticulous, organized and possess positive working attitude.
Able to work under pressure and fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Words, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
