Ensure the corrective actions identified in warehouse inspection and accident/non-conformance investigation are effective and implemented in a timely manner
Identified and promote new technologies and work methods which can be applied to streamline warehousing activities and reduce operational costs
Plan warehouse resources and activities to meet daily operational needs
Established SWPs and Procedures to ensure optimum warehousing performance
Ensure relevant HR procedures are followed (appraisals, discipline, grievances etc.) as well as both WSHA and MOM regulatory requirements are met
Formalized and document work processes to meet quality requirements
Established stock count processes
Lead and manage a team of operational personnel and provide career development opportunities through training and development
Minimized turnover rate of operational staff
Any other duties as assigned
Authorities:
Decide responsibilities and authorities of personnel under his charge.
Approve Monthly Stock Count Report
Review all aspects of HSEQ procedures, risk assessment registers and processes
Any other authorizations in order to fulfil the requirements of the role
Approve yearly performance appraisal for personnel under his/her charge
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, stock control and customs liaison.
Strong management skills, able to efficiently organize a large team on various shifts.
Good organization skills, able to motivate a workforce and encourage strong teamwork.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and have a sound understanding of industry standard computer software.
