Job Description

• Analysis and design of banking solutions
• Writing functional or technical specifications and required customizations
• Translate specifications into development tasks
• Development of banking solutions using X-Gen scripting and parameterisation
• Development of customer specific functionalities (such as interfaces)
• Coordination as dev lead of development tasks within the project team (onsite/ offsite/ offshore) and with product management
• Perform unit and system integration testing; assist users on user acceptance testing
• Resolve defects and follow through on resolution and deployment
• Conduct system training
• Provide deployment support
• Provide Sale support for products

Requirements:

• 10+ years programming / software development experience working in technology projects
• Development of complex web-based applications (backend and frontend) using programming languages such as C++, Java and/or Java Script or comparable languages
• Working with graphical middleware-platforms
• 6+ years banking domain experience (i.e., fund management, trading, payment transactions, case management)
• 5+ years experience with database applications (SQL, database tuning)
• Knowledge of Linux (developer tools, shell, compiler, …)/ Windows / VMs
• Experience with Java script/XML/SQL
• Knowledge of communication protocols and APIs (such as http/REST, MQ Series, JMS)
• Experience with the web development environment Sencha ExtJS
• Basic client facing soft skills: Business writing, Communication, Professionalism, Presentation, Teamwork, Pro-active, Leadership
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Experience with multi-cultural teams is an advantage
• Knowledge of SWIFT and/or ISO20022 (e.g., MT502 messages) standards is an advantage
