Job Description

• Implementation of Engineering/Architecture standards and programs
• Project management of key components
• Follow SDLC and Engineering standards
• Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts, and basic knowledge of other technical areas to
• identify and define necessary system enhancements, including using script tools and analyzing/interpreting code
• Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues, and recommend programming solutions, install, and support
• Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, as well as conduct testing and debugging

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or similar
• At least 1.5-2 years’ experience on KDB+ including the delta control platform (Kdb+ is a high-performance column-oriented database from Kx Systems Inc. kdb+ is designed to capture, analyze, compare, and store data − all at high speeds and on high volumes of data)
• Know how to use q (q is the general purpose programming language integrated with kdb+).
• Experience within the technology or banking industry
• Experience of developing or supporting q/KDB+ solutions
• Experience of developing Java solutions is a plus.
• Scripting (Shell)
• Unix (preferably Linux)
