Job Description

• Gather, analyse and formalize a user’s business requirements into project specifications / documentations. Focus is more on technical side like API Specifications and Data Flow Diagram.
• Drive the API Development from conceptualization to actualization.
• Liaise and work with IT Developers (interand sometime business side. Coordination could virtual sometimes.
• Evaluate on the feasibility of implementation and manage the scope of the project.
• Set priorities and provide timely progress updates on testing status to stakeholders.
• Support and analyze reported issues/service requests and perform escalation if required.
• Conduct gap analysis (in comparison with a benchmark) to identify improvement opportunities in the system.

Requirements:

• Degree in Business IT, Computing Science, Engineering or equivalent
• At least 4-5 years of experience as Test Analyst or Business Analyst.
• Experience in any programming language or scripting (e.g. SQL, C#, etc) is a plus.
• Exposure and involvement in API Development, particularly in defining specification, is a huge advantage.
• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycles and Agile are definitely an advantage. Focus is on Testing Stage and Requirement Gathering.
• Ability to understand system specification, test cases, procedure and expected results.
• Good knowledge of electronics / electrical engineering will be advantageous.
