Job Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of inspectors in meeting departmental quality goals.
- Work closely with CSO and QA inspectors to ensure committed schedules are met in a timely and effectively manner.
- To review and provide continuous improvement suggestion on current processes.
- Assist measuring and inspection of products if required.
- Work closely with manufacturing plants and external suppliers to address product-related quality issues and drive corrective actions for continuous improvement.
- Identify product failure and raise Non-Conformances Report (NCR) to manufacturing plants/suppliers for corrective action.
- Manage customer complaints, reject return and improvement programs.
- Assist and coordinating in achieving the ISO9001:2015 accredited certification as well as customer-specific qualifications.
- Assist in any duties as assigned by Management or Immediate Superior.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 year’s of relevant working experience in Precision Manufacturing or experience in quality environment.
- Able to communicate effectively across all levels.
- Matured individual who is resourceful and independent, and possess good problem solving and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge in ISO 9001-2015 Quality Management System.
- Strong knowledge and ability to read mechanical drawings with knowledge of CMM, profile projector, and measuring equipment.
