Supervise a team of inspectors in meeting departmental quality goals.
Work closely with CSO and QA inspectors to ensure committed schedules are met in a timely and effectively manner.
To review and provide continuous improvement suggestion on current processes.
Assist measuring and inspection of products if required.
Work closely with manufacturing plants and external suppliers to address product-related quality issues and drive corrective actions for continuous improvement.
Identify product failure and raise Non-Conformances Report (NCR) to manufacturing plants/suppliers for corrective action.
Manage customer complaints, reject return and improvement programs.
Assist and coordinating in achieving the ISO9001:2015 accredited certification as well as customer-specific qualifications.
Assist in any duties as assigned by Management or Immediate Superior.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3 year’s of relevant working experience in Precision Manufacturing or experience in quality environment.
Able to communicate effectively across all levels.
Matured individual who is resourceful and independent, and possess good problem solving and interpersonal skills.
Working knowledge in ISO 9001-2015 Quality Management System.
Strong knowledge and ability to read mechanical drawings with knowledge of CMM, profile projector, and measuring equipment.
