Job Description:

• Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, servicing and maintaining machinery, equipment, systems and infrastructures both mechanically and electrically.
• Responsible for ensuring machinery and equipment runs smoothly and reliably.
• Ability to perform preventive and predictive technical preventive maintenance is necessary.
• Maintain a proper spare parts inventory register to ensure availability of the spare parts.
• To monitor and control maintenance costs, you must be able to track the costs of labor, supplies, and equipment repairs.
• Ensure unplanned problems, breakdowns and emergencies are dealt with immediately and their root causes are determined.
• Using 5 why analysis tool to analyze the root cause of the breakdown.
• Responsible to submit improvement project (Kaizen).
• Works to maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed; completes tasks in a timely manner.
• Liaise with OEM, external vendor, owner and engineer on equipment repair status.
• Adhere to EH&S compliance.
• Perform adhoc activities and supports as required by Maintenance Manager, Engineer or Supervisor.

Requirements:

• Minimum ITE Higher NITEC/NTC2 in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Good knowledge in production equipment and CNC machines.
• Good knowledge in hydraulic/pneumatic controls, PLCs, sensors and actuators.
• Knowledge of PLC control, PLC troubleshooting and modification will be an advantage
• Hands-on mechanical and electrical repair and troubleshooting experience is a must.
• Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings.
• Ability to do fabrication and electrical works.
• Able to work 2 Rotative Shifts or permanent night shifts and overtime.
