JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Engineering support of start up of new machine model
• Fixture from design to fabrication and final testing, for machine tool component parts
• Create Quality Check Sheet for Machining and Assembly
• Conduct production investigation to support and propose work improvement.
• Research on new technology to improve quality and productivity
• Research on automation by robots, reducing manpower reliance
• Knowledge of Solidwork and 2D CAD
• Support production for machine modification design.
• Prepare and do engineering presentation
• Able to plan and manage engineering projects and time schedules

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Good CAD operating skills
• Can use Microsoft Office (Excel/Words/Powerpoint) for documentation and presentation
• Capacity to work independently from general supervision (must be self-motivated once given direction/guidance)
• Understand mechanical and electrical drawings, and PLC knowledge
• Has machine electrical/PLC maintenance experience
