You will be responsible for the daily operations of the accounting and finance functions within the company and play a key role in the continued improvement of the company’s finance processes, including the cloud-based NetSuite ERP system. You will participate in producing financial reports to provide data-driven insights and decision-making. You will work closely with management to develop and implement strategies to achieve the company’s long-term objectives.

Maintain a full set of accounts, handle daily finance operations (AR & AP functions) and ensure timely recording of accounting entries into accounting system.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows) and effectively convey analysis and recommendations to management
• Verify transactions and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Oversee finance related processes, and identify and execute improvement opportunities in internal controls, processes, policies and procedures
• Work closely with senior management in preparing and maintaining annual and multi-year budgets and projection forecasts
• Timely communication to corporate management and stakeholders (including funders, investors and key corporate partners), help support releasing financial information, handling inquiries and meetings
• Liaise with external auditors for year-end annual audits, preparation of audit schedules, attend to audit queries and provide information required.
• Any ad hoc projects as directed (eg. special audits)

Requirements & Qualifications

• Accounting Degree with minimum of 4 years experience, or Accounting Diploma with minimum 6 years experience
• At least 2 years experience in maintaining full set of accounts
• Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards and Singapore GST rules and regulations. Basic knowledge of Singapore corporate taxation.
• Experience in Netsuites or any equivalent ERP system will be a plus
• Proven knowledge of financial analysis and strategy
• Self-motivated, meticulous, hands-on, and proactive team player
