Job Description
Coordinate with relevant department to ensure that stock items and stock levels are appropriate
Arrange logistical arrangements such receive, handle, load, unload, pack, store, record, and dispatch goods
Ensure that that there is adequate inventory to meet the organization’s needs by ordering, receiving and issuing consumables, and managing out-of-stock over-stocked products
Maintain up-to-date records of all stock movements to ensure that optimum stock levels are maintained. Enter data into a database, retrieve stored information and respond to enquiries
Maintain FIFO
Carry out regular stock checks to ensure that adequate supplies are maintained
Monitor warehouse activities to ensure that goods are stored correctly and safely; and warehouse space is used efficiently
Monitor the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and protection of equipment and make recommendations for improvements
Prioritize and assign tasks to ensure that the team’s resources are used effectively and that
work schedules and targets are met
Assist bi-annual stock take
Requirement
Minimum O level/Diploma
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in operation of store management
Preferred knowledge of inventory management software will be added advantage
