Job Description
- Collaborate with senior designers to develop design concepts and space plans
- Assist in creating detailed drawings, renderings, and 3D models using design software
- Conduct research on materials, finishes, and furnishings for design projects
- Prepare material boards, sample boards, and presentations for client meetings
- Assist in the selection and specification of colors, fabrics, furniture, and fixtures
- Support project coordination and communication with clients, contractors, and suppliers
- Assist in the preparation of project schedules and monitor progress
- Attend site visits to observe and document project status
- Maintain organized project files, including drawings, specifications, and correspondence
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in interior design
- Contribute ideas and participate in team brainstorming sessions
Requirement
- Degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field
- Previous internship or work experience in interior design is preferred
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of space planning, color theory, and design principles
