Job Description

• To independently compound and / or prepare bases, according to work instructions, via manual and automatic dispensing.
• To measure raw materials accurately and ensure that products are manufactured according to specifications.
• To understand and record data from the equipment.
• To pack samples, label the products correctly for QC inspections and testing.
• To ensure that there should be no cross-contamination of products in storage area.
• Basic housekeeping of work area. To ensure the equipment is clean, sanitized and tidy.
• To work in a team to solve issues, develop new procedures if necessary, and to recommend improvements.
• To perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Requirement:

• You should be able to read, write and communicate in simple English.
• Basic mathematics skills is must for weighing and measuring the raw materials.
• Reading comprehension and basic computer skills is also important as you will be handling computer operated machines.
• You must have completed vocational training (NITEC / ITE and above) in chemical field or with experience in production in the chemical/food flavouring manufacturing industry.
• Previous experience in compounding operations advantageous.
• You must have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment under minimal supervision.
• You must also be comfortable to lift and load a bag that weighs at least 20 – 25kg.
• You should not be allergic to aromatic products.
• You must be willing to take overtime when required.
• Multi-lingual will be advantageous.
